Questions of life revolve in my head Spinning as the earth; Half in detailed darkness, Half in glorious light -- I feel there are as many answers In the day As in the night
Is ponderous thought the true path Or merely an earthly distraction? Sometimes I feel that True Knowledge Lies in action -- But what can I say of life When I know what is known to me to be But a fraction Of constellations, invitations and manifestations Left to be seen by my eyes; Left to be found in mountains, rivers and skies --
A tiny chapter of the earth's Neverending masterpiece Of potent cosmic words Written in the eyes of lovers, Translated through the words of mothers, Often settling with flakes of Snow -- Hidden in the leaves of trees And crashing with the waves Upon the shore --
What I have found is amazing to some, But I desire more -- I wish to know such truth That questions revolving in my mind Would supernova into perfect light
